Ex-Police Officer Ordained Prophet
A former officer of the Ghana Police Service and currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shekina Herbal Science Centre, Dr. Ebenezer Adjakofi, has been ordained as a Prophet of God at a colourful ceremony.
The ordination service, under the auspices of the Christ Church International, in conjunction with the International Supreme Council of Independent churches and Ministers Association, was held at the Legon Hall Chapel of the University of Ghana last Sunday.
The event, which was organized amidst pomp and pageantry and interspersed with good musical performances, attracted a host of renowned pastors, family, friends, well wishers and people from all walks of life.
The event, which had the venue filled to capacity, could have passed for a musical concert with good musical performances.
In a special ordination sermon, the head of the officiating Ministers, Apostle Alex Mantey, charged the ordained prophet to lead an exemplary life and work assiduously as a soldier who was battle ready for the work of God.
On his part, Prophet Dr. Adjakofi, who completed the Bible School and Ministerial Training not too long ago, pledged to work hard to win more souls for the Kingdom of God and ensure that the Word of God reached as many unreached people as possible.
He noted that the only way to win the war against homosexuality and other social ills bedevilling the country presently was for Christians to intercede and pray for the nation, adding, “Prayer answers all things”.
