An operative with the National Security, Adams Mohammed Adani has been questioned by the Nima Police for duping one Anthony Rau, a Ghanaian born German citizen of the sum of GH 10,000.

According to the police, in November 2011, Anthony Rau came to lodge a complaint that in 2010, he brought some Mercedes Benz C class parts to sell and as he could not sell all the parts before going back to Germany, he put them into the custody of Adani For safe keeping.

Later, when he came back, he asked for the parts only to be told a different story. He therefore went to report the matter to the boss of Adani at the national and when he was confronted he admitted to have sold the parts without the knowledge of the owner and promised to pay by installment which he did by paying only GH 1,000 till date. As a result of not fulfilling his promise to the full, the police therefore invited him and he pledged to pay up.

However, he has not been able to do anything so the complainant has been advised by the police to take the matter to court.

The complainant, Anthony Rau also disclosed to this paper that when he was leaving for Germany he left his Mercedes car with him and upon his returned he found out that Adani had spoilt the engine beyond repairs.
