A three-year old boy was swept away by flash floods in the Ashanti Region on Monday.
The incident happened in Manso Datano. Yakubu was said to be playing in the rain at the time of the incident.
A resident of the area, Nana Yaw told XYZ NEWS the victim has since been buried.
He narrated that at about 4:00 pm when a heavy rainstorm hit the township, the deceased was returning home to his parents. He met their absence but decided to stay outside around for a while.
As the boy was waiting for his parents, he decided to play in the rain when he was carried away by the raging flood.
