The Odikro of Adwaase near Agric in Kumasi Nana Kwabena Kesseh narrowly escaped death when his BMW car somersaulted several times into the Offin River near Boaman in the Afigya Kwabre District.
The accident left the car completely mangled but Nana Kesseh and his brother escaped unhurt. The bridge over the Offin River on the Boaman-Ahenkro road has become accident prone spot but several calls on authorities to widen the bridge have fallen on death ears.
