The Dansoman Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old man for posing as a lady prostitute.
According to the District Police Commander, the man who gave this name as Chris Boateng, a.k.a Jackline had dressed like a woman and was arrested after a complaint was lodged by a man who had gone in for his services, on Wednesday night.
Narrating the incident to Peace FM exclusively, the Dansoman District Police Commander, ACP Wilson Aniagyei, said the 20-year-old was still in their custody. He told Peace FM, that Chris Boateng who hails from Ashanti-Bekwai in the Ashanti Region, said he normally operated at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, a suburb of Accra.
He said, under normal circumstances, he collected between GH˘15.00 and GH˘20.00 from a customer, who wanted to use his “bottom” for homosexual performance. He added that,since he came to Accra from Ashanti-Bekwai, he had been staying with a lady friend who never knew he was a "woman".
Chris whose nature could best be described as a man-woman was caught by police patrol team in an argument with another man who had given him a lift that later turned up more intimate only for the man to find out that his 'partner' is not a woman but of the opposite sex.
Speaking in an interview with peacefmonline, Chris said he has been practicing as a gay for the past four years under the pretence as a woman. Until he strips naked, Chris' mannerisms, gestures, make-up and tone coupled with his name as Jacklyn makes it difficult for anyone to know he is a man. For him, his kind of living interests him very much.
