Akim Oda Magistrate court on Thursday bonded two ladies who fought over a man to be of good behaviour for six months or in default serve four months in hard labour.

Alhassan Abiba 21, a trader and Akosua Ayebea 28, a hairdresser who live at Old town, a suburb of Akim Oda in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region, pleaded not guilty to disturbing public peace.

Presenting the facts of the case, Police Chief Inspector Kojo Ahenkora told the court presided over by Mr. Frank K. Annor that about 2330 hours on November 13, Mr. Kobena Oppong who is a friend to the two ladies invited them for a meeting.

Chief Inspector Ahenkora said after the meeting Abiba stopped a taxi cab to go home but was confronted by Ayebea resulting in fight.

He said a police patrol team spotted the two rivals and arrested them.
