Bishop Matthew Addae-Mensah, General Overseer of the Gospel Light International Church, head-quartered in Accra, has warned that Nigeria’s controversial Prophet, T.B. Joshua, is a master conman who is scheming to impose himself on Ghana, and would turn the country’s blessings into curses if he is not told a piece or two.

Bishop Addae-Mensah’s warning is in response to claims by T.B Joshua that he is the brain behind Ghana’s victory over Brazil in last Friday’s final of the U-20 World Cup in Egypt. According to Addae-Mensah, if T.B Joshua is allowed to take credit for the victory, Ghana would not only incur the wrath of God, this could also potentially ruin the profession of the Ghanaian coach and make the players look like idiots.

Quite embarrassingly, other claims by TB Joshua claim that he spoke on phone to André Dede Ayew, on the field of play during the final match of the U-20 World Cup has been denied by the captain.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Guide on Wednesday, Bishop Addae-Mensah said it is improper for any Man of God to take credit for the victory of the U-20 team simply because that Man of God claims he said some prayers and spoke to the coach on the field of play.

“TB Joshua is not the only Man of God who prayed, we all did and many Ghanaians and Africans the world over were indeed praying for the team. Several pastors had rightly predicted the outcome of the match but we all give the glory to God and credit to the coach and players. We do not invite journalist to take the glory and put videos on the internet to glorify ourselves because taking the glory from God would transform our blessing into a curse.

“in Malachi 2 vs 1-2, God stated categorically: ‘if ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart,’ and what TB Joshua is doing is simply taking the glory from God and the credit from the coach and players; that is something that would invite the curse of God on the nation and someone needs to point that out to him.

“This man is a conman who knows how to manipulate situations to his advantage and he has some media experts all around him who work to make him look good but that is his business as long as he does not impose himself on Ghana as he has started to do. If he is so patriotic, what prevented him from getting the World Cup for his country? If God has been kind to us, TB Joshua should stop taking the glory,” Addae-Mensah emphasized.

The Gospel Leader said he had no problem if President Atta Mills chose the Nigerian Prophet as his spiritual leader or godfather, but that does not give TB Joshua the right to meddle in Ghana’s national affairs and parade himself as a national prophet. “We would not allow that to happen and our President better watch out before this man deceives him into sending Ghana the wrong way. I am surprised because I know many men of God in this country who are consulted by other African leaders and presidents from other continents but we do not go out there to say everything.”

He noted that Prophet Joshua is steadily, but successfully, scheming to impose himself as a ‘national Prophet’ for Ghana though no one has ordained him as such. Interestingly, the 46-year-old multi-billionaire Prophet Joshua has come under server criticism from a number of leading Pentecostal and Evangelical pastors in Nigeria who have openly accused him of being a Christian witch-doctor and an occultist trying to masquerade as a Pentecostal preacher.

Bishop Mike Okonkwo, head of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), is on record as having denounced TB Joshua, describing the latter as an imposter. He said PFN over the years has warned of the “dangers of infiltrators who have modernized cultism by injecting the name of Jesus Christ into their largely unbiblical practices”.
Another Pentecostal leader, Christopher Okotie of the Household of God Ministries, is also on record as having called TB Joshua’s church an anti-Christ cult. Head of the 26,000-member Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has also questioned the genuineness of TB Joshua’s miracles.

The man of God did not in anyway exalted himself above GOd. First he attributed Satellites victory to God and said he was the least of all prophets including all the men of God in Ghana. Theses pastors and bishops in Ghana should not jump quickly in bashing the man of God, TB Joshua, out of ignorance and jealousy. Pastor TB paid tributes to the entire Ghanaian pastors who through their prayers made the victory possible. TB is indeed a True servant of God and so humble that God is using him so greatly in this last days that the kingdom of the devil is so disturb and shaking. No wonder, media houses such Peace Fm and Daily Guide are devil advocates to destroy the man of God. Remember, the more they publish negative stories about TB, the bigger God make TB Joshua and expand his ministry.Keep your propaganda gospel and TB Joshua escalates to the level as never seen before.

I become so alarmed when such comments are coming from the mouth of supposed 'men of God'. What is his proof of what he is saying about the Prophet. What does bible say about prophets. The bishop should not feel jealous but rather seek for a gift (charisma) from God.

WARNING TO THE PRESS WORLDWIDE ON TB JOSHUA “Had I known always come at last” Say’s Michael Lathbridge Recently the Ghanaian media landscape witnessed a raging debate, mostly abrasive, over whether Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nation’s boasted to be the God that led the Ghana’s Black Satellite’s to victory, when Ghana became the first African team to win the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt. It was indeed Africa! The same attitude was demonstrated when President Atta Mills became the president of Ghana few month ago. We appreciated the debate which went into the discourse, due to unbelievers but wished that it had not degenerated to the level it has, involving the press, politicians, Pastors as well as individual who have labeled the accused; Prophet TB Joshua in front of news papers and online news sites with sadistic words of which some are so strong worded. My question to the press; I thought when a story comes to the knowledge of the public, it is expected that it must have gone through a thorough analysis and check by the relevant authorities. Then comes the part that ensures that all involved parties in the news are given a fair sense of hearing so that both sides of the story are not only heard but the final story that is released to the public allows for them to make an informed conclusion? When these above stated guidelines are disregarded, a major part of the ethics of the profession of journalism can be said to have been thrown out of the window; that is the case of Peace Fm, Daily Guide and certain individual running this senseless propaganda. At the expense of finding out source of some of the despicable tales from few of the publication in the past, l phoned few media houses in Ghana, South Africa, and Nigeria to find out from the publishers whether they know TB Joshua. The answer was no, how then did they find out the genuine of the article they publish before they do? All these disparagement came to the limelight when the current president John Atta Mills saw the need of putting God first in leading his people. The fact is that, Ghana has had 12 head of States since the independence in 1957, who can tell me which of them has publicly honored a man God and to seek God’s opinion on the decision they take in ruling their people him? Perhaps those whom have turned the name of TB Joshua in chewing stick, derogatory his name would love it if Atta Mills visit the Volta region to consult a fetish priest, maybe you would eulogize him then. President Atta Mills knows that a man without Christ is equal to crises. Did He not deliver and healed the sick? Did He not prophesy to the people? Why then has TB Joshua’s name become a subject of disparage among men of God? Why not ask God who is TB Joshua? Despite the whole yarn, after Ghana worn the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, Prophet TB Joshua never lay claim of the glory, but said “The coach called me in the morning of the battle in Egypt and said I should join them in prayers. I considered this as a great honor because there are many great men of God in Ghana that had also been standing in the gap for the team. And I was one of these called to join in prayer for the team. There are great men of God in Ghana. We are all prayer warriors…” It has becomes obvious that you all conspire to spoil the name of TB Joshua at all cost. We should remember all fingers are not equal and God gives as He will, and we should let the pain of one to be the pain of all. Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh admitting that a Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua decided which players he should play at the U20 World Cup. Joshua told Tetteh to make Andre Dede Ayew the key to his selection as he was the luckiest player in the U20 World Cup winning squad. Tetteh admitted that they were in constant touch with Joshua throughout the tournament and he said the pastor's predictions were true. "Before God and man I was in constant touch with Pastor Joshua all the predictions he made were realized," Tetteh said. But Ayew who was at the centre of Joshua's predictions says all the glory must go to God because people of all faiths contributed to the team's success. And that was what Prophet TB Joshua said “There are great men of God in Ghana. We are all prayer warriors”… Ayew never said that he didn't receive a call from TB Joshua; he only said all the glory must go to God. Following the word of Ayew, it is obvious he spoke to TB Joshua. If you listen to Prophet TB Joshua, he also said all the glory must go to God. He never glorified himself but only to testify of the goodness of God. I believe he recorded the conversation just for events like this. If the miracles of Jesus were not recorded in the bible, we will not read that He made the blind to see nor made the crippled to walk. This shows that he is a Man of God indeed and a true prophet. I don't think the man of God is giving glory to himself; rather he is glorifying the Lord for the power and anointing giving to him. Why don't you stop criticizing and leave everything to God to judge. Prophet T B Joshua has prophesize match before and it came to past, I see no reason why you should doubt him this time. Before the match between Nigeria vs. Mozambique, he talked about it and even said he saw a goal which would be scored with the head. And it came to past that the only goal scored by Victor Obinna Nsofor of Nigeria was with his head. It is no longer arguable, with the class in which the critics have enveloped themselves; it shows the totality of their kid’s style propaganda. Had I known always comes at last; hence I have chosen to warn you as a son of the soil to stop mischief on TB Joshua By Michael Lathbridge

It is very sad that we have allowed this issue to degenerate to this worrisome level. What did this Prophet did wrong to warrant all these national noise? We castigated Coach Siasia and the South African journalist for predicting against Ghana and yet we make so much noise against a man of God that had wished us well. I watched the so called video tape and I realized that the man has Ghana at heart. He did not and NEVER contacted our Coach but our Coach did and have accepted the fact that he did contacted this man of God, then what is the noise all about? T.B. JOSHUA prophesied to the Coach and followed up to guide the coach. I saw NO place in the Video where this Man of God was claiming credit for the victory of the satellites. WHY GHANAIANS WHY? Don’t we know the meaning of VISSION and PROPHESY again? About Dede Ayew: He might not truly have spoken to the captain as claimed but that is understandable. Emmanuel TV is bigger than any TV station in Ghana in terms of coverage and any thing you can think of, therefore the staffs are always in with T.B JOSHUA because the studio is within his office. Almost every activity of T.B Joshua is recorded including people that visit him for consultation. Ask for the archive of anybody you know that have visited T.B. JOSHUA and Emmanuel TV will present you with the Video recording of such a person’s visit. So he did not just record his communication with the coach because he wants to claim credit. Whenever prophesy is given, his TV crew will be watchful and follow it closely to know whether it will come to pass or not. Beside he has given quite a lot of prophecies that came to pass, visit: http://www.scoan.org/prophecy.htm The Prophet said, let me speak to number 10 and the coach said hold on, and connected him to somebody whom he spoke with believing. How would he have known that he wasn’t speaking to the number 10? And his TV crew also captured when he requested to speak with number the 10 and when he was talking to somebody believed to be number the 10. So we should be asking the Coach who he made speak with the prophet in place of the number 10 instead of all these BASHING. PRESIDENT MILLS is not the first President to visit T.B. Joshua. A lot of President and highly placed Individuals have visited this Godly saint and they always went to HIM and not him going to them. Nigeria question: I want to tell you that the almighty Pastor Chris visited T.B. Joshua in 2003 and the Prophet Joshua prayed for him. The Nigeria PRESIDENT Just honored Prophet T.B JOSHUA and did not honor any of these so called Pentecostal and Evangelical Pastors. PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA spend more than $200,000 weekly for charity alone word wide and did not need Ghana money to operate. He does not need Ghana but Ghana needs him. I don’t know where this fake bishop addae mathew mensah is coming from. Where in the video did he claim credit for anything in that video? May God help us.

This man claiming he is a bishop is also not a good man of God. He is only jelous of TB Joshua. If he is really a man of God as he also claimed, he wouldn't have said all these things because God said touch not my anointing and do my prophet no harm. If he is also a real man of God he would have known that TB Joshua is God's anointed.Iam really really ashame of this so called bishop.
