Introduction
The Government of Ghana received a report from the Ghana Embassy in Burkina Faso about the plight of some Ghanaian truck drivers who were stranded at the Burkina Faso - Niger border due to overloading. The Government therefore sent a delegation headed by the Minister for Roads & Highways, Hon Joe Gidisu to meet the Nigerian Authorities for an amicable solution to the impasse.
