| Fight against indiscipline is fight for all - Prophetess |

Prophetess Elizabeth Quayeba Abradu of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Prayer Camp, has noted that the fight against indiscipline is the responsibility of all and sundry.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), shortly after the camp's monthly revival meeting at Promised Land, Anum Apapam in the Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District, she said parents and teachers were better placed to ensure and promote discipline among the youth of the country.
The one-week revival spent time to pray for the nation and its leaders as well as the sick and the needy in society. Over 350 people from Suhum, Akim Oda, Agona Swedru, Takoradi, Kwahu Adawso and adjoining villages attended the programme.
Prophetess Quayeba said children often take their parents as role models, no matter how bad or good they were, adding that it therefore behooved on parents to live exemplary lives for their children to emulate.
Prophetess Quayeba called on parents and teachers to collaborate effectively and use the teachings of the Bible to educate the youth to live above reproach so they would become responsible citizens in future.
She charged Christians to always improve upon their relationship with God.
The Prophetess expressed regret that a number of the youth engaged in vices such as drug addiction, armed robbery, illicit sex and alcoholism and stressed that "unless these practices are checked, there will not be any better hope for the country."
She said since last year, the prayer camp had been able to undertake capacity building programmes for leaders of the Church.
Prophetess Quayeba said God uses her to heal the sick. |
