Rev Robert Kwao, Volta Regional Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal Council (GPC), has urged Ghanaians to have hope in the country's economy and believe things would turn-around for the better.
He said this was not the time to "cut away hope" but hold on to the word of God and have hope for the future.
Rev Kwao was delivering a sermon as part of activities to mark this year's GPC Bible Week in Ho.
It was on the theme, "God's word; Hope for today and tomorrow."
Rev Kwao, the Pastor in charge of Word Miracle Church International in the region, urged Ghanaians to hold fast to the word of God and desist from speaking their feelings.
"We must stop speaking our feelings such as Ghana is hard, we cannot make it and believe that with God all things are possible," he said.
He said God had done enough for the country which must put its trust in him and keep his Word.
Rev Noble James Tulasi, GPC Zone five leader, urged Christians never to give up hope and always pray for the nation's leaders for a better tomorrow.
He said Christians should remain prayerful for the Nation, Africa and the entire world and be each other's keeper.
Apostle Moses Ayittey, Volta Regional Chairman of GPC led the congregation through prayers for pastors, politicians and the people of Haiti.
