The Management of the Ghana Gas Company says it cannot afford to delay the project one day beyond the target date of the end of 2012 and at no extra cost.
This is because of the danger any delay will cause to the Jubilee oil fields.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Dr. George Adja Sipa Yankey told newsmen in Accra that government is determined to build, own and generate gas infrastructure that meets the best standards.
