One more person has died at the Offinso Hospital in the Ashanti Region as a result of the injuries sustained in the fatal accident that occurred on the Techiman road on Wednesday.
Twelve people were earlier confirmed dead with several others seriously injured.
However, the death toll has increased to 13 after one more person died Thursday morning.
The fatal accident occurred after an articulated truck run over five vehicles at Abofour on the Techiman road. 15 people are currently on admission at the Offinso Hospital receiving treatment for injuries sustained.
XYZ News’ Ashanti regional correspondent, Isaac Bediako Justice reports that the number is likely to rise due to the seriousness of the injuries.
