President John Dramani Mahama has disclosed that in the next two weeks, he will present an agenda on some policy measures with a view to changing some of the things in the country.

He was speaking during his maiden broadcast to the nation on Wednesday evening.

"Fellow countrymen and women, in the next two weeks, i'll present an agenda to the nation on some policy measures we need to take to consolidate the progress we've made," President Mahama said in his Presidential Broadcast televised live on GTV a few minutes after 8pm.

Expressing his profound gratitude to the all Ghanaians for the unity shown during the funeral of President John Mills, President Mahama called on all to "limit the voices of pessimism and negativity".

"I encourage everybody, male or female, young and old, to take ownership of this country by limiting the voices of pessimism and negativity that seek to break us down as a society rather than build us up," he urged.
