A 32-year-old driver who allegedly pushed a shoe needle into the penis of his friend, leading to blood oozing from the victim’s genital organ, has been arrested by the Chorkor Police.
Emmanuel Antoh, who is also said to be a businessman, is said to have given the victim, Benjamin Mensah, 26, an alcoholic beverage which made the latter unconsciousness.
Briefing The Finder, the Mamprobi District Commander, Superintendent Peter A.K. Ayirezang, stated that on Sunday, July 29, Benjamin, together with his relatives, reported to the Chorkor Police Station, with blood oozing from his (Benjamin) penis.
He said, according to Benjamin, a ‘car washer’, Emmanuel picked him up around 2am at Lanteymaami, a suburb of Chorkor.
Emmanuel then took the victim to his house at Chemunaa, where Benjamin told police he was given an alcoholic beverage while they were engaged in a conversation.
Supt Ayirezang said Benjamin felt unconscious thereafter, only to regain consciousness to find his friend pushing a shoe needle into his penis.
Benjamin told the police that he felt severe pains and also realised that the room was stained with blood.
After the act, Emmanuel took Benjamin in his taxi and dropped him at a point close to Benjamin’s house.
Benjamin, who managed to go home in pain, reported his ordeal to his relatives, who reported the case to the police.
Supt Ayirezang said Benjamin was sent to the hospital, adding that the endorsed medical report confirmed the harm caused to the penis.
The report stated, “A retral tear 2 degree Celsius needle prick.”
He stated that when interrogated, Emmanuel admitted being a friend to Benjamin, but denied the allegation of causing harm to Benjamin.
He said the last time he spotted Benjamin was four months ago.
Supt Ayirezang said the case was under investigations and when it was proven that the suspect carried out the crime, he would be charged and arraigned. |
