The Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Okyere Darko has advised the New Patriotic Party to maintain its campaign message and strategy despite the demise of President John Mills.
Political watchers believe the NPP’s agenda will suffer after President Mills’ death because he was the center of their campaign message.
But Mr. Okyere Darko has said that the NPP will not need to change its message as President John Mahama is part of the same team.
According to him, “there is no reason why their message should change. The NDC however has only four months to ensure that the new candidate can win them votes.”
He added that “the issue is what is the NDC going to do and not what the NPP will do.”
