ECOWAS Parliament Speaker Senator Ike Ekweremadu has described as shocking the death of President John Atta Mills of Ghana.
Ekweremady, who is also the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, said in a statement by his spokesman, Uche Anichukwu, that the death came to the community as a rude shock.
ECOWAS commission also in another statement yesterday condoled with the government and people of Ghana over the death of Mills.
