Peacefmonline.com can confirm that a train has slammed into an Urvan bus at the Kwame Nkrumah railways killing the conductor and injuring several others in the process.

Reports received indicate that the train hit the side of the Urvan Bus which was traveling from Kaneshie to Circle after driver of the urvan bus ignored several warnings from the conductor to stop.

The driver of the Urvan bus, according to reports, tried to hastily cross the railway line but unfortunately the train hit the side of the urvan bus, sliding it into a nearby gutter.

There are conflicting reports as to what actually caused the death of the railway conductor as some eyewitnesses say he was run over by the onrushing train, whiles others claim he was hit by an object from the bus when the train rammed into it.

Meanwhile, some of the passengers in the bus who sustained various degrees of injuries have been rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for treatment.
