Ms. Mariam Millah, a Public and Customer Relations Specialist, has been elected the new Board Chairperson of the Foundation for Female Photo journalists (FFP) in Accra.

FFP, is the only women's media and art organisation in Ghana committed to development through the provision of information.

Ms. Millah is an accountant who has more than 10 year's experience in financial management and accounting. She is a member of the Institute of Public Relations and Association of Chartered Certified Accountant and is committed to contributing her skills in finance accounting, public relations and customer care towards the overall goals of FFP organisational development.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Ms. Millah thanked colleague board members for entrusting the leadership of the organisation to her, adding that she will work hard to ensure that FFP empower the vulnerable with information through its development of cinema and production of visuals.

Mr. Joe Kpenge, Head of Human Resource and Organisational Development of Action Aid International and a board member of FFP said members were focussed on upholding organisational integrity and accountability to its constituents.

Other members of the board are Ms. Vera Doku a communications specialist, Dr. Michael Whyte Kpessa, a public policy analyst (Canada), and Ms Gladys Adinyira Wuaku, a sculptor.

Others include Mr Abel Sumo Gayvolor an international photographer, and Mardey Ohui Ofoe a photojournalist and Executive Director of the FFP.
