Former Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama leaves Accra for Chicago, United States on Monday June 29th as a guest of the North American Alumni Association of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The information was contained in a release signed by Alhassan Abdul-Wahab, a Special Assistant to the former Vice President.

The invitation forms part of the association’s anniversary celebrations from Wednesday, July 1st to Thursday, July 7th during which he will be the Guest of Honour.

While in Chicago, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, an alumnus of KNUST will assist in the mobilization of resources for the benefit of his alma mater. The celebration is themed “Mobilising Our Resources To Help Our Alma Mater.”

He is scheduled to meet with the Tamale/Louisville sister organization to discuss development issues concerning the Northern Region of Ghana in general and Tamale in particular.
