At the end of it, all there were barely no infringements to merit punitive sanctions to attract dissections from social commentators, and so the NDC national delegates Congress came to a fruitful end.

What initially looked like a victory for the Atta Mills camp in the Party, suddenly took a tumble for the Rawlings group to take over.
Now, the latter has an enjoyable majority over the former but even then the NDC never really fought. Many have said because of the evidently violent aura surrounding them, potential trouble shooters never really made the trip to Tamale.

They contend that because of that the Congress was a one-sided meeting that could not have produced the usual bickering and the like. Yet others have forcefully advanced the argument that it was the most successful NDC Congress in recent times. In the opinion of THE SUN, all arguments are solid but the end result points to success and it is a lesson all the other Parties need to put in their pipe and smoke.

Peace is an essential requirement in nation-building and nobody knows this essential point more than these political entities jostling for the opportunity to govern all the time. If the NDC has done it, it is possible all the other Parties can as well. Factions in the other Parties must recognise this and desist from displaying their rougher side to the nation.

May Party politicking grow from strength to strength in Ghana so that we could be a reference point to our fellow African brothers and sisters.
