Let me start off by confessing that I love all women regardless of race or nationality. I don't particularly discriminate when it comes to women, but I do have my preference. Meaning, a woman has to be darn smart in order to attract my attention. Smartness in a woman is sexiness to me. Apart from sexual stimulation, a woman must be able to provide mental stimulation as well.
Honestly speaking, I prefer a great conversation after sex, but that's me. Anyway, my quest to find the right woman to stimulate me mentally hasn't always been successful. I have met some interesting women who were absolutely great in bed, but further had nothing else to offer. I have also met some smart women who were just marvelous to talk to-only they were not mine for the having.
Anyway, what is this thing about most of our successful Black brothers marrying White-women?
Now, don't you all get me wrong. I'm not saying that Blacks shouldn't marry Whites. That choice is a given. What I'm saying and seeing is that more and more of our successful Black brothers are marrying White women. Most of our Black male entertainers in Hollywood are married to White women. Most of our successful Black athletes are married to White women. Most of our respected politicians are going out with White ladies. And one simply has to wonder why? See, none of us could dispute the strength and beauty of our Black sisters. They might be difficult to live with at times. They could be really sweet if they want to, and really mean if they so desire. They might even insult our pride sometimes, but they are worth every respect from us. Because after everything is said and done, both the continuation and survival of our Black race lies hidden in their fertile wombs.
It's true that White society is more receptive towards successful Black men. They are welcomed with open arms. In fact, color becomes a non issue the very moment a person of color becomes successful. What is also worth mentioning is that White women are sexually more emancipated than Black women. White women would do things in bed, which our Black sisters would never dream doing. In fact, sex is a very power tool which could attract, hold and keep any man. Therefore, could the migration of our successful Black brothers to White women be as a result of sex? Of course, I could speculate all that I want. However, the exodus of our successful Black brothers to White women continue unabated. And the question is; how long are our Black sisters going to look on unconcerned? How long are they going to permit this trend of men-snatching to continue?
I would like very much to believe that our Black sisters are being betrayed by this exodus. Then again, I cannot also help but to believe that maybe our successful Black brothers cannot find satisfaction within our own Black community. Hence, the pursuit of satisfaction somewhere else-somewhere White. If this is the case, then could we hold our Black sisters responsible for this rapid increase of interracial marriages? And I mean the ever increasing interracial marriages between our successful Black brothers and White women? Or is it simply our successful Black brothers, who seem to equate success to having a White woman for a wife? What do you all think?
