Dear Otumfuo,

Based upon the fact that no-one is infallible, clairvoyant or has encyclopaedic knowledge, I am consequently obliged as a passionate citizen of Kumawu to convey to your attention, my observations and suggestions, same believing that, "It does not belong to he who is leading to redirect their steps".

I am a Kumawu citizen resident in the Netherlands, Den Haag, to be precise. I have been following with great passion the out of line sequence of the Kumawu chieftaincy inheritance wrangling bordering on complete contortion of facts. This sadistic development has left in its trail insinuations, insults, and castigations of all sorts directed at all those involved in the case at one point or another.

It really hurts me to see or hear people mudslinging you for what they deem as your slow, but maybe prudent tactic to resolving the pending Kumawu chieftaincy dispute due to its complexity. Their anger culminating in such an untoward attitude otherwise unfamiliar with Ashantis' good upbringing may be derivations from hallucinations, or, their assigned connotative reasons to what may be an unravelled process to determining the outcome of the case.

Be that as it may, I will strongly suggest that you constantly update all the stakeholders on the issue. This is much better than leaving them in the dark to conjure their own reasons thereby rendering those victims of the figment of their own imagination, and leaving yourself to unwarranted attacks.

"It is far better to bore people with over communication than to let rumour fill the vacuum", said Sir John Harvey Jones - Industrialist.

The opposite of Sir John's entreatment is what is currently observable as regards the intentional or otherwise, insolvable Kumawu chieftaincy affairs with the concomitant hurling of insults all about and at you.

I pray you re-invent your passion for commitment to excellence - because anything less is a passive acceptance of the second rate. Why this unexplainable abrupt decadence in the execution of your much touted problem-solving shrewdness? Should you for any reason feel incapacitated to preside over the case, please do delegate a committee of competent persons to arbitrate the dispute.

Otumfuo, please be it known to you that, "In general, the hair-trigger condition created by adrenocortical arousal explains why people are so much more prone to anger if they have already been provoked or slightly irritated by something else - (things) that under other circumstances would not be powerful enough to trigger emotional hijacking", said Daniel Goleman - Emotional Intelligence.

Could this not be the case with those self-claimed freelancers who have shamelessly become foul-mouthed aspersers parading the corridors of the electronic and the print media peddling falsehoods? I feel disheartened to always read a one-sided insult-laden story about the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute.

Much as I pity you for being sandwiched between a rock and a hard surface, I am equally disenchanted by the seeming lackadaisical attitude to solving the case. In the absence of fairness, clarity and delivery of ruling on the concluded Abena Wurukye's case since the last three months, can one honestly impale the attackers for their views?

In order to put a stop to the stigmatisation of the office of you, may I suggest that you become conscious of the harm you are doing to Asanteman and yourself by the nonchalance tactics you have resorted to.

Rectifying what in the eyes of many is an abnormality will help restore their lost respect for you, thereby re-instating you to your past glory.

May you be healed.

May you be discerning.

May you live longer, by the abundant Mercies of God. And may you never give cause for people to underestimate your impartiality, intelligence, and to doubt your credibility as a selfless King who is at the service of his servants.
