He gave the assurance today, Saturday, August 29, 2009 at a groundbreaking ceremony for the building of the permanent campus of Ashesi University College on a 100-acre plot at Brekuso in the Aburi/Nsawam Constituency.

According to the Minister, out of 97,564 applicants for admission into public universities and polytechnics in 2007/2008 academic year, only 40,531 applicants representing 41.5% were admitted.
